Research Statement

I study an interdisciplinary area of early childhood education and instructional systems technology. My focus is on designing curriculum that integrates digital technology and CS & AI education for early childhood, along with professional development for teachers. I aim for my study to benefit real classrooms, valuing collaborations with teachers, students, families, administrators, and communities to leverage practical implications. This belief is evident in my co-design of AI curricula with teachers and children. My approach also aligns with feminist methodology, emphasizing respect for marginalized groups, especially women and children. As a researcher, I listen to their voices and work to improve their well-being, education, and equity.
